Cutting Edge Tree Service is a story of a classic American dream. We are a 100% locally built and family operated business. Owner Erik W. Tjossem, has 20 years of experience; first as a climber and then as a foreman/climber of a crew engaging in ALL aspects of tree work. 

Erik Tjossem was taught by some of Humboldt's best including fourth generation Arborists and loggers (Thank you Rocky). Erik has classroom experience in forest management and four years experience as certified Arborist. 

When we started our business, we had an old truck and a handed down saw. After a lot of hard work, studying and saving, we are proud of the growth that Cutting Edge Tree Service has had in the last ten years of business.
